Cross Country Races For NJCAA Championships
Canadangua Falls, NY - The Brookdale men and women's cross country student-athletes competed at the NJCAA DIII National Championships on Saturday, November 12th. The meet was hosted by Finger Lakes Community College. Division III junior colleges throughout the country competed in the respective races.
Canadangua Falls, NY - The Brookdale men and women's cross country student-athletes competed at the NJCAA DIII National Championships on Saturday, November 12th. In the women's 5K, sophomore Hannah Fite took 29th with a time of (22:31.60). Freshman Shannon Kelley finished 32nd with a time of (22:38.50) while freshman Rizwana Khan came in 59th with a time of (24:40.90). Ali Gutt of Harper Community College won the national title with a time of (19:11.50) while Harper took home the team title with 36 points.
In the men's 5 mile race, freshman William Nemeth ran a time of (32:27.50) while freshman Robert Arroyo completed the race in (34:18.30). Eric Wilkewitz of Schoolcraft took home the national title with a time of (29:11.40) as Harper took home the team title with 65 points.
