Brookdale Completes Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational
Glassboro, NJ- The Brookdale men and women's cross country teams traveled to Rowan University to compete in the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational on Saturday, September 17th. The meet features several four year division II and III schools as well as fellow junior colleges.
Glassboro, NJ-The Brookdale men and women's cross country teams traveled to Rowan University to compete in the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational on Saturday, September 17th. The meet features several four year division II and III schools as well as fellow junior colleges.
In the women's 6K, freshman Shannon Kelley took 77th with a time of (27:29.20). Sophomore Tierra Hackley came in 91st with a time of (28:40.20) followed by sophomore Hannah Fite with a time of (28:42.20). Freshman Rizwana Khan rounded out the Jersey Blues with a time of (33:09.10). New Paltz State took home the team title with 34 points.
On the men's side in the 8K, freshman William Nemeth ran a time of (32:40.30) while freshman Robert Arroyo ran a time of (33:10.90). Rowan University took home the team title with 25 points.
Brookdale will next travel to Stockton University on Saturday, September 24th to compete in the Osprey Open.
