Blues Volleyball Sweeps RCSJ - Gloucester, Finishes Regular Season 13-4

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team ended their regular season on a high note with a 3-0 sweep over the Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester Roadrunners. The Jersey Blues finished 13-4, their best record since the program started in 2014. 

The Blues outperformed the Roadrunners in every aspect, securing their second sweep victory over them after their last meeting on September 21st. The entire Blues bench played with leading stats from freshman outside hitter, Annika Fechtner, who had four kills, two solo blocks, and three aces. Freshman outside hitter, Rebecca Valentin, also attached four kills, four aces, and seven digs, while sophomore libero, Rebecca Arleth, added seven kills and 15 digs.

Brookdale will host round one of the Region 19 tournament as the #4 seed against the #5 Ocean County College Vikings on Tuesday, October 25th, 7:00pm.
