Blues Volleyball Struggle To Tame The Raritan Valley Lions

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale women's volleyball had difficulty taming the Raritan Valley Community College Lions as they swept the Blues, 3-0.

Freshman outside hitter, Patricia Lennon, led the fight for the Blues with three kills, 18 digs, and one ace. Classmate and right-side hitter, Aubree Gergich, placed seven digs and an ace as well. Outside hitter Rebecca Arleth added seven kills and 14 digs, as middle hitter Jackie Weiss totaled one kill and one solo block.

Additionally, defensive specialist, Perla Ortiz-Sarabia, contributed seven kills. The team welcomed back freshman setter, Cathleen Kane, in her debut game following an injury.

Brookdale volleyball's next match is on Monday, September 27th, 7:00pm, against the Union County College Owls on the Jersey Blues home court.
