Brookdale Falls In Three Sets To Raritan Valley Lions
Branchburg, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell to the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 0-3 (17-25, 10-25, 20-25).
Branchburg, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell to the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 0-3 (17-25, 10-25, 20-25).
Despite an immense effort from the back row, totaling 82 digs, receiving errors led to tough offensive plays for Brookdale. Freshman middle hitter Carolyn Hazard talled seven kills and six blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Katie O'Neill posted seven kills and 13 digs as sophomore right side hitter Emily Schulte connected for four kills, two aces and one block. Sophomore libero Samarie Hernandez notched a team-high 30 digs.
The team will return to action at home as they host the #5 seeded Mustangs of Montgomery County Community College on Saturday, October 26th at noon for the first round of the Region XIX tournament.
