Sophomore Katie O'Neill Scoops 11 Digs Against CC Morris

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team was overpowered by the Titans of County College of Morris, 0-3 (22-25, 15-25, 22-25).

In three close sets, Brookdale could not surpass the Titans as unforced errors on the receiving end led to difficulty on carrying out attacking opportunities. Sophomore middle hitter Melanie Hobbis posted two kills and four blocks as sophomore right side hitter Emily Schulte tallied three kills, one ace and three blocks. Freshman middle hitter Carolyn Hazard contributed three kills, two aces and six blocks as sophomore outside hitter Katie O'Neill scooped a game-high 11 digs and crushed seven kills.

The team's record stands at 6-5 and Brookdale will return to action on the road at Middlesex County College on Tuesday, October 8th for a 7pm match-up.
