Women's Volleyball Outlasts Rowan Roadrunners In Five Thrilling Sets
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team outlasted the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County 3-2 (30-28, 25-27, 25-21, 14-25, 15-9). The student-athletes were resilient and fought for every point.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team outlasted the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County 3-2 (30-28, 25-27, 25-21, 14-25, 15-9). The student-athletes were resilient and fought for every point.
In the exciting match-up, freshman outside hitter Kaitlyn O'Neill crushed 17 kills and one ace while recording 14 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Jennybell De Jesus contributed 10 kills. Freshman middle hitter Emily Schulte collected five kills and five blocks as the Hernandez sisters combined for an incredible defensive effort, scooping 67 digs. Freshman setter Ciarah Minnig ran the offense with 29 sets, two kills and one ace.
The Jersey Blues will return to the Collins Arena on Thursday, September 27th to face-off against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College at 7:00pm.
