Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team took the conference match from Union County College in three sets, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-11).
Sophomore outside hitter Jennybell De Jesus contributed five kills, 11 digs and two blocks while freshman middle hitter Emily Schulte recorded three kills with no errors and four blocks. Freshman outside hitter Kaitlyn O'Neill notched four kills, two aces and nine digs as freshman libero Samarie Hernandez posted a match-high 24 digs and four aces. Freshman middle hitter Melanie Hobbis added four aces.
The team totaled 16 aces and will return to action at Passaic County Community College on Saturday, September 22nd at noon.
