Women's Volleyball Season Comes To A Close After Exciting Win Against Union County College
Cranford, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team ended the 2017 season after an exciting 3-2 (21-25, 30-28, 25-22, 23-25, 15-10) victory over the Owls of Union County College.

19 aces and 90 digs gave Brookdale the advantage needed to take down Union in five sets. Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Hand tallied 22 kills, four aces and 24 digs while freshman outside hitter Jessenia Acevedo notched five kills, five aces and 10 digs. Sophomore defensive specialist Johanna Williams added six kills and 23 digs as freshman middle hitter Nicolette Cooper contributed three kills and six aces. Freshman setter Taijha Williams dished out 29 assists and recorded three aces and 13 digs.
With the win, the team finishes out the 2017 season with an overall record of 7-9.
