Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team outlasted the Owls of Union County College, 3-2 (25-27, 30-28, 25-27, 25-23, 15-9). Sophomore setter Rebecca Franey double-doubled, scooping 23 digs and dishing 24 assists.

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team outlasted the Owls of Union County College, 3-2 (25-27, 30-28, 25-27, 25-23, 15-9). Sophomore setter Rebecca Franey double-doubled, scooping 23 digs and dishing 24 assists. Freshman outside hitter Katrina Hand led the Blues in kills, crushing 30 while also collecting 34 digs and three aces.
Freshman middle hitter Brianne Allender recorded nine kills and nine blocks as freshman outside hitter Brandy Zielenbach tallied 17 digs and three aces. Freshman middle back Hermione Bankole blocked five shots and freshman libero Johanna Williams led the team in digs, scooping 36.
Freshman outside hitter Jennybell DeJesus added 17 digs and three aces.
Brookdale improves their overall record to 9-9, 8-4 in conference play and will return to action in the TBD Region XIX tournament.
