Brookdale Shuts Out Rowan College At Gloucester County On The Road, 3-0

Sewell, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team grabbed a road victory after shutting out the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 3-0 (25-10, 25-19, 25-19). Freshman outside hitter Brandy Zielenbach served up four aces while freshman middle back Hermione Bankole smashed three kills.

Sophomore setter Rebecca Franey led the team in assists with 17 while also notching five aces. Freshman outside hitter Katrina Hand smacked 16 kills as freshman libero Johanna Williams scooped 15 digs. Freshman outside hitter Jennybell DeJesus collected two blocks.

Brookdale improves their overall record to 5-5, 5-1 in conference play. The team returns home to face the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday, September 22 at 7:00pm.
