Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's volleyball team fell to the Owls of Union County College, 2-3 (14-25, 25-15, 25-23, 3-15). Rookie Morgan T. Schweitzer led the Blues with 11 kills and 14 digs. Freshman middle hitter Anna Litowinsky tallied 8 kills,10 blocks and a team high 5 aces.

Freshman setter Cristina Gallagher dished out 25 assists in the match while contributing 5 digs, 3 aces and 2 blocks. Freshman outside hitter Justeen Adams posted 6 kills, 16 digs and 3 aces.
The Blues return to action on Tuesday, September 6th against Ocean at home.
