Brianna McCarthy and Toni Kauffman Post First Doubles Win; Jersey Blues Defeat Northampton Spartans 6-3

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team defeated the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 6-3. First doubles partners Brianna McCarthy and Toni Kauffman edged their opponents 8-4 as second doubles Hailey Johnson and Grace Meyer recorded eight straight game wins.

In singles action, freshman fifth singles Lindsey Nelson tallied a two-set match victory, 6-1, 6-0  as second, third and fourth singles all posted wins respectively.

The team will next take on the Vikings of Mercer County Community College at home on Thursday, September 28th at noon.
