The Middlesex Colts Are Tamed By Jersey Blues Women's Soccer
Edison, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team had a job on their hands wrangling up the Middlesex College Colts, but managed to score a late goal for a 2-1 conference win. The Jersey Blues still lead the conference in standings with a 5-0-1 record.

The Brookdale midfielders worked overtime as sophomore Grace Broderick plunged the first goal in the net off of an assist from sophomore, Gabrielle Hueth, at 13:50. The 76:56 mark was monumental for Blues as sophomore forward, Rori McDonough, found freshman midfielder, Ashley Palmieri, for the assist and winning goal for Brookdale. Freshman goalie, Ryann Bannerman grabbed 15 saves in the win.
The Jersey Blues play their final regular season game at home on Saturday, October 14th, against the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners at 2:30pm following the men's game. The Roadrunners sit on Brookdale's heels in the Region 19 standings.
