DII Essex Wolverines Fall To Jersey Blues Women's Soccer
Lincroft NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team set the tone early by scoring the first three goals of the game against the DII Essex County College Wolverines. The Jersey Blues fired off 20 shots on goal in the 4-2 win.

Lincroft NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team set the tone early by scoring the first three goals of the game against the DII Essex County College Wolverines. The Jersey Blues fired off 20 shots on goal in the 4-2 win.
Five of the shots on goal, with two hitting the back of the net, were derived from freshman midfielder, Hailey Funkhouser. Funkhouser's first goal was unassisted at 9:42, then fellow classmate midfielder, Catherine Delia, lent her a helping foot for her second goal about 10 minutes later.
Funkhouser was instrumental in Brookdale's third goal at 67:18, as she hit second year forward, Rori McDonough, with a pass for her first of two goals. McDonough scored her second goal about nine minutes later off of a pass from freshman midfielder, Ashley Palmieri.
Brookdale (4-3) travels to play conference foe, Camden County College, on Saturday, October 7th, with a 12:00pm start.
