Lincroft, NJ - The women's soccer team battled and blanked the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings, 1-0, on their home turf as they increased their record to 3-2.
Freshman midfielder, Lianna Quezada, was a huge component for the win as she took total control of the center-mid and had a powerful assist to freshman midfielder, Dorothy Seidle, for the sole goal of the game. Seidle had a strong debut performance with her big foot and shot in the first half to put the Blues on the board.
Freshman goalkeeper, Emma Bennett was outstanding in the net as she captured 25 saves for the win.
The Jersey Blues women will head to RCJS-Gloucester to challenge the Roadrunners for a win on Tuesday, October 5th, at 3:30pm.
