Women’s Soccer Claims GSAC Title In Overtime Victory Against Union County College
Manalapan, NJ – In a battle between two undefeated programs that took more than 90 minutes, the Brookdale women’s soccer team emerged victorious, 2-1, thanks to freshman forward Lauren Karabin’s goal in overtime over the Owls of Union County College at Manalapan Park and Recreation Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Manalapan, NJ – In a battle between two undefeated programs that took more than 90 minutes, the Brookdale women's soccer team emerged victorious, 2-1, thanks to freshman forward Lauren Karabin's goal in overtime over the Owls of Union County College at Manalapan Park and Recreation Center on Tuesday afternoon.
After playing to a scoreless tie in the first half, freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo got Brookdale on the board in the 67th minute. Union scored the equalizer with just under two minutes to play, forcing overtime.
Brookdale is now 13-0 on the season and clinched the Garden State Athletic Conference regular season title. They return to the field on Thursday, October 11th when they host Sussex County Community College at 3:30 p.m.
