Women's Soccer Falls 3-2 At Ocean County College
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team fell against the Vikings of Ocean County College, 3-2. The Jersey Blues had the lead early on after freshman midfielder Madison Doria recorded a goal in the first five minutes of play.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team fell against the Vikings of Ocean County College, 3-2. The Jersey Blues had the lead early on after freshman midfielder Madison Doria recorded a goal in the first five minutes of play.
Ocean scored the next two goals before half-time. Freshman defender Kelly Negra made some offensive plays that resulted in a penalty kick in the 72nd minute. Negra ripped a shot from the pk line and scored the second and final goal for Brookdale to tie up the game.
Freshman goalkeeper Sophia Goos made a great diving save late in the second half and Ocean rebounded and scored for the win.
Brookdale returns to action in the Region XIX tournament at Ocean County College on Saturday, October 21st for a 10:30am kick-off.
