Blackwood, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's soccer team outscored the Cougars of Camden County College, 6-1 in GSAC action. Freshman forward Gianna Murphy put Brookdale on the board early after scoring in the second minute of play. Murphy also collected one assist.

Sophomore forward Breeana Cassidy tallied one breakaway goal and two assists while sophomore midfielder Kathleen Maniace, freshman forward Christine Albano and freshman midfielder Alexandra Sweeney posted one goal apiece. Freshman midfielder Madison Doria also added one goal and one assist as freshman defender Alexis Cuje notched one assist in the match-up.
Freshmen goalkeepers Mya Schaumloffel and Sophia Goos made a combined eight saves.
The team improves their overall record to 2-0-1 and will return home to face the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College on Thursday, September 14th at 3:30pm.
