Women's Soccer Defeats Bucks In Season Opener; Freshman Madison Doria Rips Hat-Trick
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team kicked off the 2017 season with a win against the Centurions of Bucks County Community College, 6-1. Freshman center-midfielder Madison Doria topped the Blues offense with three goals while freshman forward Alexandra Sweeney and sophomore forward Breeana Cassidy tallied two assists apiece.

Freshman defender Alexis Cuje, freshman forward Gianna Murphy and freshman forward Christine Albano collected their first goals of the season as freshman midfielder Jessica Textor dished an assist. Murphy also added one assist.
Freshman goalkeeper Sophia Goos made 5 saves while freshman goalkeeper Sheridan Casserly contributed three saves in the second half.
The team returns to action on the road at County College of Morris on Tuesday, September 5th for a 3:30pm kick-off.
