Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team suffered a tough defeat to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1-0.
After a scoreless first half, the Roadrunners found the back of the net in the 63rd minute of the game and the Jersey Blues couldn't answer back.
Freshman goalkeeper Kayla Breaud grabbed eight saves and sophomore center-midfielders Bianca DiBlasio and Endila Radoncic controlled the middle of the field. Sophomore forward Amanda Karabin supported her teammates offensively and defensively.
The team returns to action at home on Thursday, September 29th against the Dukes of Cumberland County College at 3:30pm.
