In the first minute of the game, sophomore midfielder Ashley Cafarella hit the back of the net from the penalty mark, putting the Blues on the board. Freshman forward Heather Arbachesky extended the lead for Brookdale, scoring one goal and dishing three assists.
Freshman midfielder Claire Begley, sophomore forward Simone McEnough and freshman midfielder Brittney Ramsey each recorded a goal. The Blues defense held tight for the team's second shutout of the season.
Brookdale returns to action on Thursday, September 10th against the Vikings of Mercer County Community College at home for a 3:30pm kick-off.
