Newtown, PA- The Brookdale women's soccer team downed the Centurions of Bucks County Community College, 5-0. The Blues maintained possession of the ball throughout ninety-minutes of play. Freshman midfielder Ashley Cafarella knocked in a header to put Brookdale on the board late in the first half. Cafarella scored one more to finish the half.

Sophomore forward Caroline Duerr netted back to back goals within minutes of the second half. The fifth and final goal was posted by sophomore defender Amanda Anastasia, tallying her first goal of the season.
Sophomore center-midfielder Brooke Tartis tallied 3 assists for the Blues while freshmen Kimberly D'Ermilio and Alexandria Montefinese each added 1.
The Blues return to action at home on Saturday, September 27th against the Vikings of Ocean County College.
