Jersey Blues Stopped In The Passaic Panther Tracks With 62-32 Loss
Paterson, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball completed their first conference match following winter break which resulted in a 62-32 loss against the Passaic County Community College Panthers.
Paterson, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball completed their first conference match following winter break which resulted in a 62-32 loss against the Passaic County Community College Panthers.
Down on numbers, the Jersey Blues finished the first half in the lead, but only scored nine points for the remainder of the game thereafter. The Blues did their best to challenge the Panthers with freshman guard, Emily O'Keefe, taking the lead in scoring with 16 points and four steals. Feisty under the boards, freshman center/power forward, Madison Fernandez, gripped 10 rebounds with her nine points, and freshman forward, Jessly Rivera, helped with 10 rebounds in the battle.
Next for the Jersey Blues (1-8) is a short trip to Toms River, NJ, for another conference match-up against the Ocean County College Vikings on Thursday, January 18th @5:00pm.
