Che'Kasha Andrews Signs National Letter Of Intent For Wilmington University
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore point guard Che'Kasha Andrews has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Wilmington University and play for the Wildcats on an athletic scholarship.
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore point guard Che'Kasha Andrews has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Wilmington University and play for the Wildcats on an athletic scholarship.
In her two years at Brookdale, the Long Branch native recorded 1,384 points, 116 steals, 214 assists and 231 rebounds. Andrews is the second ever women's basketball player to reach 1,000 points and is now the current record holder. Andrews was named to the first NJCAA All-American team, first All-Region and All-GSAC teams and Region XIX Player of the Year for the 2016-2017 season. For the 2017-2018 season, Andrews earned GSAC Player of the Year honors and first team All-Region and All-GSAC distinctions. Che'Kasha's favorite moments as a Jersey Blue was scoring her 1,000th point and going to the NJCAA national tournament her freshman year.
"I chose Wilmington University because it is the best fit for me. I love the campus and it is close to home," she said.
