Andrews Surpasses Her 1,000th With 40 points For Win Over Camden
Lincroft, NJ - Sophomore guard, Che'Kasha Andrews, was on fire hitting for 40 points for the win against the Camden County College Cougars, 69-57. Andrews turned up the heat early in the 2nd quarter, then dropped a three-pointer to hit for her 1,000th point at the 4:34 mark. Last Year, Che'Kasha was the Region XIX Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, and 1st Team All-American.

Following Andrews milestone, the women pulled ahead from a five point deficit, then finished the half one point ahead, 26-25. Despite some foul trouble, the Blues crew took control of the 2nd half and maintained a steady 10 point lead to the end of the game with a 69-57 final score. In addition to Andrews 40 points and 10 rebounds, Freshman guard, Kayla Fletcher, had a season high 13 points, as Sophomore guard, Alexa Vreeland, pulled down a season high 10 rebounds.
The Jersey Blues women are currently 10-7 overall, and 9-2 in the conference. They will play Union County College home on Thursday, January 18th @ 5pm.
