Women's Basketball Advances To Region XIX Finals
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women’s basketball team is headed to the Region XIX Division III Championship after defeating the Vikings of Ocean County College 73-62. Sophomore point guard I’Briana Moore led all scorers with 25 points. Moore caught fire after coming off the bench shooting 50 percent from behind the arc, while grabbing five rebounds and four steals.

Sophomore point guard I'Briana Moore led all scorers with 25 points. Moore caught fire after coming off the bench shooting 50 percent from behind the arc, while grabbing five rebounds and four steals.
Freshmen Che'Kasha Andrews and Gianna Errico also put up double figures, scoring 25 and 13 points respectively. Errico also collected a double-double with 12 rebounds. Ocean County's Courtney Hagaman lead all scores with 31 points, while also pulling down 12 rebounds.
With the win, the Jersey Blues will face the Spartans of Northampton Community College in Collins Arena on Sunday, March 5th tipping off at 12pm.
