Jersey Blues Softball Drain The RCSJ-Dukes Of Two Wins
Vineland, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team notched two more wins under their belts to sit in the #1 spot in Region 19 after draining the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, 8-4 and 12-4, as they sit in the #1 spot in Region 19.

Vineland, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team notched two more wins under their belts after draining the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, 8-4 and 12-4, as they sit in the #1 spot in Region 19.
Leading the Blues in the 8-4 win was freshman second baseman, Brittany Campbell, perfecting 4-for-4 at bats with two RBI's. Sophomore third baseman, Nicolette Pavlik, added a double and matched Campbell's two RBI's. Sophomore right fielder, Ana Marziano, went big at the plate as well, hitting 3-for-4 for an RBI. Sophomore catcher, Zoey Hagan, freshman first baseman, Sydney Rawlings, and freshman pitcher, Mallory Shevlin, all had two hits with an RBI each. Shevlin (3-1) was hot in the pitching circle for seven inninings with three earned runs and nine strikeouts.
The Blues carried their big bats to the second game as sophomore center fielder, Alyssa Sigler, hit for a double-triple to score three runs in her 4-for-4 at bats. First baseman, Brittany Campbell, provided another three hits (7-for-8 total on the day) with two RBI's, as shortstop, Nicolette Pavlik, and third baseman, Zoey Hagan, added two RBI's a piece. Sophomore pitcher, Gianna Praet (3-1), was the proud winner, earning three runs and five strikeouts in the big five-inning win.
Brookdale is currently 6-2 overall, 2-0 in the conference, and will be home to host the DII Lackawanna College Falcons on Friday, March 31st, beginning at 3:00pm.
