Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball allowed only five runs in their double header wins against the Union County College Owls, 12-3, 11-2.
All in the freshman class, third baseman, Zoey Hagan, and first baseman, Adriana Noterile, batted 3-3, as pitcher, Gianna Praet, and left fielder, Madison Parrish had two hits and two RBI's a piece. Praet threw a one-hitter, with no earned runs and 12 strikeouts for the win; her 12th win on the season.
In the second 11-2, winning game, freshman third baseman, Nicolette Pavlik, pumped out three doubles in her 3-3 at bats, catcher Zoey Hagan, went 2-2 for three RBI's, and Adriana Noterile put out two hits and three RBI's as well. Freshman winning pitcher, Charlotte Piper, earned her sixth win by striking out five with only one earned run.
The Blues (27-9) will be on the road to play the Raritan Valley Community College Golden Lions on Thursday, May 5th, at 3:30pm.
