Jersey Blues Capture Middlesex Colts For Another Two Wins
Edison, NJ - The Jersey Blues had an interesting set of wins against the Middlesex College Colts as they skirted by 5-4 in game one, then dominated in game two, securing a 12-2 win in just five innings.

Edison, NJ - The Jersey Blues had an interesting set of wins against the Middlesex College Colts as they skirted by 5-4 in game one, then dominated in game two, securing a 12-2 win in just five innings.
The winning run in game one was scored off of a double by outfielder, Alyssa Sigler, followed by freshman Kiliko Lowe's RBI single in the top of the 7th. Lowe went 2-3 and contributed two RBI's in the tight win. Freshman Charlotte Piper chalked up another win on the mound for the Blues.
The batting opened up in game two as infielder, Nicolette Pavlik, hit an even 3-3, adding two doubles and four RBI's. Sophomore utility player, Julia Canal, stepped up with another two RBI's, striking 3-4 at the plate. Winning pitcher, Emily Savicky delivered nine strikeouts to the Colts and contributed two hits for the five inning win.
The Blues (5-5) will look to continue their winning streak on the road to visit the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes on Thursday, April 22nd, starting at 3:30pm.
