Jersey Blues Claw The Camden Cougars In Double Wins
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team grabbed their first two wins in a double header against the Camden County Cougars with scores of 8-4, and 10-2.

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team grabbed their first two wins in a double header against the Camden County Cougars with scores of 8-4, and 10-2.
Freshman left-hand pitcher, Charlotte Piper, earned the win on the mound while she banged out three doubles and two RBI's in her 3-4 at bats. Freshman catcher/shortstop Jada Spolizino pulled in an RBI with her outstanding 4-4 at bats in game one.
Game two got real exciting as freshman infielder Zoey Hagan walloped a three-run homer in the first inning, making that her second homerun on the year. In the 4th inning, freshman infielder, Nicolette Pavlik, dinged a two-run homer, her second homer of the season also. Both Piper and Spolizino continued their hot streak at the plate as each had five hits a piece in the double-header. Winning freshman pitcher and utility player, Emily Savicky, earned the win for game two.
The Jersey Blues (2-6) will continue their four game series with the Camden Cougars at their field on Wednesday, April 14th, beginning at 3:00pm.
