Garden City, NY- Sophomore shortstop Paige Eckert smashed a two-run homer in game one as the Jersey Blues closed out the Nassau Community College Lions in five innings, 15-1. Eckert also added four RBI's.

Garden City, NY- Sophomore shortstop Paige Eckert smashed a two-run homer in game one as the Jersey Blues closed out the Nassau Community College Lions in five innings, 15-1. Eckert also added four RBI's.
Sophomore Bobbie Beck pitched for the win.
In game two, sophomore catcher Bridget Coulahan connected for two hits and three RBI's. Sophomore pitcher Rachel Hrevnak spun for the 11-0 victory.
With the series win, the Jersey Blues improve their overall record to 24-13 and will return home to face Monroe College for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00pm. Brookdale will also be honoring their sophomore student-athletes in-between games.
