Softball Splits With County College Of Morris
Randolph, NJ- The Brookdale softball team split with the Titans of County College of Morris. In game one, the Jersey Blues were edged 9-2. Freshman second baseman Paige Eckert and sophomore third baseman Danelle Lewis posted two hits apiece.

Randolph, NJ- The Brookdale softball team split with the Titans of County College of Morris. In game one, the Jersey Blues were edged 9-2. Freshman second baseman Paige Eckert and sophomore third baseman Danelle Lewis posted two hits apiece.
In game two, the Blues overcame the Titans, 11-3 in five innings. Sophomore left-fielder Taylor Mennie connected twice at the plate for a three-run home-run in the first inning. Mennie also recorded a sac-fly and RBI single, totaling five RBI's in the game. Lewis stayed strong at bat and contributed a two-run single while sophomore right-handed pitcher Lauren Coppinger threw for the win.
With the win in the second game, the team improves their overall record to 23-6-1 and will next travel to Monroe College on Saturday, April 15th for two games.
