Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale softball team fell against the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1-0 and 7-1 in the finals of the Region XIX tournament.
Freshman first baseman Bethany Evans crushed a home run in game two to collect the Blues lone run of the doubleheader.
Sophomore center-fielder Amanda Pringle stole one base while sophomore third baseman Jacquie Coulahan added a sac-fly.
The 2016 softball team completed their season with an overall record of 33-15 and 13-1 in conference play.
