Softball Drops First-Round Game Of National Tournament
Rochester, MN- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Cyclones of St. Cloud Technical & Community College, 9-7 in the first-round of the National tournament. Freshman pitcher Victoria Vogt threw for the first six innings. Sophomore reliever Kaitlyn Kretzmer finished out the game on the mound.

Rochester, MN- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Cyclones of St. Cloud Technical & Community College, 9-7 in the first-round of the national tournament. Freshman pitcher Victoria Vogt threw for the first six innings. Sophomore reliever Kaitlyn Kretzmer finished out the game on the mound.
Sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano went 2-2 from the plate, knocking in one run for the Jersey Blues. Freshman first baseman Caroline Abin connected three times at bat and recorded three RBI's.
The team returns to action on Friday, May 15th against Community College of Allegheny College-South in the second round of the elimination bracket of the national tournament.
