New Rochelle, NY- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Mustangs of Monroe College, 12-11 and 5-4. In game one, the Blues were up in the top of the fifth but could not hold on to the lead. Sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano went 4-5 from the plate, bringing in one run.

New Rochelle, NY- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Mustangs of Monroe College, 12-11 and 5-4. In game one, the Blues were up in the top of the fifth but could not hold on to the lead. Sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano went 4-5 from the plate, bringing in one run.
Freshmen shortstop Cassie Varvaro and Taylor Sheridan collected three hits apiece.
In game two, Sheridan crushed a solo home run.
Brookdale returns to action at home on Thursday, April 23rd against Montgomery County Community College.
