Sara Vocisano Named GSAC Player Of The Week

Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore Sara Vocisano was named the GSAC Softball Player of the Week, for the week ending April 5^th.  This is the second such honor for the squad this year, with freshman short stop Cassie Varvaro bringing home the honors on March 23^rd. 

In a 6-0 week for the NJCAA fourth-ranked Jersey Blues, Vocisano paced the offense, batting .632 (12-for-19) with 11 runs scored and 16 RBIs.  The speedy leftfielder also stretched out four doubles and stole one base. Driving in 26 runs on the year, the Piscataway native broke into the NJCAA top-10 leaderboard for RBIs.
