Brookdale Blanks Ocean Twice; Jacquie Coulahan Drives In Three Runs
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team extended its winning streak to six by shutting out the Vikings of Ocean County College twice. In game one, the Blues downed the Vikings, 11-0. Freshman third baseman Jacquie Coulahan smacked three hits and drove in three runs.

Sophomore pitcher Courtney Semkewyc spun a one-hit shutout. At bat, Semkewyc also recorded a three-run double.
In game two, Brookdale downed Ocean, 11-0. Freshman center-fielder Amanda Pringle, sophomore Alexandra Clayton and shortstop Cassie Varvaro collected three hits apiece.
Sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano drove in three runs for the Blues while sophomore pitcher Kaitlyn Kretzmer threw for the shutout, striking out eight batters.
The team improves their overall record to 11-4, 2-0 in conference play. Brookdale returns to action on Thursday, April 2nd against Bergen Community College.
