Pearson Smashes 2-Run Homer; Softball Downs Bergen In DH
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team downed the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 7-0 and 18-1. In game one, sophomore third baseman Krystal Pearson smashed a 2-run homer. Sophomore outfielder Cassidy Brzozowski had 3 hits and 2 RBI's while sophomore second baseman Keara Homan went 3-4 at the plate. Sophomore pitcher Samantha Hosey threw a 1-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

In game two, Pearson pitched for the win. She went 3-3 from the plate and knocked in 4 runs.
The team returns to action on the road at the County College of Morris on Thursday, April 24th.
