Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team split with Monroe College. In game one, the Blues defeated the Mustangs 3-1. Sophomore pitcher Samantha Hosey struck out 8 batters. Freshman outfielder Sara Vocisano went 2-3 with two runs scored. Sophomore outfielder Cassidy Brzozowski knocked in 2 runs and contributed a stolen base.

In game two, Brookdale fell 13-1 in 5 innings. Sophomore short stop Bobbie Boehler tallied 2 hits while freshman catcher Morgan T. Schweitzer had an RBI single.
The team returns to action on Wednesday, April 23rd against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College.
