Softball Sweeps Ocean In DH; 3 Home Runs Power Blues Offense
Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale softball team overwhelmed the Vikings of Ocean County College, 19-0 and 17-0. In game one, sophomore Samantha Hosey pitched a 1-hitter. Sara Vocisano, Courtney Semkewyc and Cassidy Brzozowski each drilled a home run. Semkewyc also drove in 6 runs.

Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale softball team overwhelmed the Vikings of Ocean County College, 19-0 and 17-0. In game one, sophomore Samantha Hosey pitched a 1-hitter. Sara Vocisano, Courtney Semkewyc and Cassidy Brzozowski each drilled a home run. Semkewyc also drove in 6 runs.
In game two, sophomore pitcher Krystal Pearson threw for the win. At the plate, Pearson tallied a triple, double and 2 RBI's. Sophomore catcher Stephanie Grainger went 2-2 with a double and single. Brzozowksi contributed 3 hits and 1 RBI.
The team returns home for a doubleheader against Mercy JV on Saturday, April 19th.
