Jersey Blues Volleyball Grab Two Wins In Tri-Match

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's volleyball team grabbed two wins in their home court tri-match against the Passaic County College Panthers, 3-2, and the Harcum College Bears, 3-0.

In the first match of the day, freshman outside hitter Jonny Ortega cranked out 22 kills, six serving aces, and four blocks against the Panthers. Freshman outside hitter, Sims Singh, crushed 12 kills with four blocks, and freshman middle hitter, Carl Lindmark, assisted with seven kills.

In the 3-0 win against Harcum, Jonny Ortega, stuck 16 more kills and five serving aces while freshman opposite hitter, Andres Camacho, displayed five kills and three serving aces. Sims Singh added seven kills in the win. 

Brookdale (2-9) will visit Mays Landing, NJ to face the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers on Wednesday, March 20, for a 6:00pm start.
