Paterson, NJ - Jersey Blues men's volleyball chalked up their first win of the season on the road against the Passaic County Community College Panthers in five intense sets of 25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-12.
Freshman outside hitter, Jonny Ortega, had a monster game and his best of the season so far with 20 kills, two aces, 14 digs, and four blocks. Freshman middle hitter, Sims Singh, also displayed his best with 12 kills, and three blocks. Freshman opposite, Andres Camacho, added three kills and eight digs in the win.
Brookdale (1-4) will travel to Toms River, NJ, for a tri-match against the Ocean County College Vikings, and the Northampton Community College Spartans on Saturday, March 9th, beginning at 10:00am.
