Brookdale put themselves on the scoreboard first at 5:33 when sophomore midfielder, Sandro Louis, passed off to sophomore forward, Alexander Roman, for a 1-0 lead. The Blues didn't score again until 54:13 into the second half with a goal from freshman forward, Jairo Chira, with the help of freshman midfielder, Jose Rincon. At 78:00, Chira struck again with an unassisted goal, his 13th of the season. The security goal came five minutes later as freshman midfielder, Mario Mozo, hit Jose Rincon for the win. Sophomore goalie, Ajani Bruney, had five saves for Brookdale.
The Jersey Blues (7-5-1) are off to Lakewood, NJ, to play the Georgian Court University Lions JV squad on Wednesday, October 11th at 3:30pm.
