Cranford, NJ - Freshman forward, Ryan Gannon, scored his 2nd and 3rd goal of the season on the Union Owl soccer field, however the Blues fell, 4-2.
Brookdale had the lead early in the second half, but the Owls were able to slip two goals past sophomore goalie, Bryan Viegas, in the final five minutes of the match. Sophomore, Marlon Morales, earned an assist playing a well weight pass to the foot of Gannon who looked up and lofted a floater over the head of the Union keeper.
In the second half, freshman midfielder, Louis Cajas, slipped a pass into the path of sophomore midfielder, Brandon Denovaes, who then scuttled a low cross to Gannon and he hammered home his second of the game.
Brookdale (1-6) travels to the Community College of Morris to battle the Titans on Monday, May 10th.
