Berkeley Heights, NJ – The Brookdale men's soccer team extended their win streak to eight in a row in a 2-1 victory over Union County College at Snyder Turf Field in Berkeley Heights.
Freshman forward Davensky Joinvilmar scored both goals for the Jersey Blues. The first goal came in the 31st minute on an assist by freshman forward Hadi Raoofi to give Brookdale a 1-0 lead. Union scored the equalizer in the second half, but Joinvilmar scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute on a header to give Brookdale the 2-1 lead.
Brookdale is now 10-2-1 on the season and will return to the pitch on Thursday, October 11th when they travel to Raritan Valley Community College for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
