Vineland, NJ – The Brookdale men's soccer team used an impressive first half to overpower the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 7-0. The team is now 8-2-1 on the season.
Freshman midfielder Ney Falcao-Lepre recorded a hat-trick and goals were also scored by freshman forward Hadi Raoofi, freshman midfielder Gerardo Medina, freshman defender Travis Aylett and sophomore midfielder Amro Dewedar. Medina had two assists, while Raoofi, freshman midfielder Shawn Behrend, freshman midfielder Job Cajas and sophomore defender/midfielder Sergio Pereira each had one.
Brookdale limited Cumberland to just one shot on goal, which was saved by freshman goalkeeper Matthew Lionette.
