Dryden, NY- The Brookdale men's soccer team blanked the Cougars of Holyoke Community College, 4-0. Sophomore forward Hakeem Wood led the Blues offense with two goals and one assist.
Sophomore midfielder Alex Cella tallied one goal and one assist while sophomore forward Guilherme DeNovaes scored the final goal of the game. Freshman midfielder Noah Drake collected one assist.
Freshman goalkeeper Matthew Ribot and sophomore goalkeeper Steven Murawski combined for the shutout in the back.
The team improves their overall record to 2-0 and will next face Harcum College at home on Thursday, September 1st at 3:30pm.
