Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team downed the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 4-2. Freshman midfielder Matt Doucette put the Jersey Blues on the board in the 18th minute of the game, recording his second goal of the season. Sophomore midfielder Andrew Lyon dished the assist.

In the 23rd minute, freshman forward Guilherme DeNovaes collected the ball from freshman forward Alex Cella and ripped a shot for the second goal for Brookdale while freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph posted the third goal. Freshman defender Claudio Martins recorded the assist.
Cella put the game out of reach for Middlesex after scoring from the penalty mark. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre made six saves for Brookdale.
The team returns to action on Tuesday, October 13th at home against Globe Institute of Technology.
