Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team topped the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 2-1. Freshman midfielder Douglas Silva sparked the Blues offense, scoring two goals.
In the 20th minute of the game, Silva found the back of the net after freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph dished the assist. The game winning goal for Brookdale was assisted by freshman midfielder Hakeem Wood.
Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre played a strong game in net and recorded eight saves.
The Blues extend their win streak to five games. The team returns to action on Wednesday, September 16th at home against the Dukes of Cumberland County College.
